Child Haven and Victor Community Support Services (VCSS) are excited to announce a new affiliation of our agencies effective April 1, 2021. Under the Affiliation Agreement adopted by both Boards, Child Haven will continue to operate as a 501c3 non-profit organization and will now be under the direction of the Victor Leadership Team. This affiliation was completed in order to further advance the missions of both organizations. VCSS brings a statewide presence and a track record of effective program operations and growth while Child Haven is a well-established agency in Solano County with excellent local relationships and reputation for providing 0-5 services. Effective July 1st, Megan Murphy will serve as the Executive Director for Child Haven under the oversight of VCSS Regional Director, Tonya Nowakowski.
We’d like to express our sincere appreciation to the outgoing Executive Director, Tonya Burns. Tonya was very instrumental in facilitating and securing this affiliation. We wish her the best of luck as she pursues other opportunities. Questions may be directed to Megan or Tonya at MMurphy@victor.org or Tonya.Nowakowski@victor.org.
We are excited at the opportunities presented by our affiliation and look forward to increasing our impact on the lives of the children and families we serve.
