Child Haven Endowment Fund

The Child Haven Endowment Fund was established in December of 2008.  The purpose of the Fund is to provide long term financial stability to the agency and to insure that financial resources of Child Haven would remain strong for future generations.

Funds will be granted at no more than 4% of the principle.  These unrestricted funds will be used to provide treatment and therapy to those children and families who have no funding source and to act as an unrestricted revenue source for the operation of Child Haven Inc.

Fund Management

The Child Haven Endowment Fund is managed by the Solano Community Foundation.

The Solano Community Foundation was founded in 2000 and qualifies as a public charity under IRS section 501(c)(3). This allows donors the maximum tax deduction for gifts and bequests. Community foundations are a pool of funds given by various donors for charitable purposes. A community foundation is what you would have if private foundations got together to pool their assets for investment purposes, reduce overhead, share staff, make grants, and address community needs.

SCF meets the rigorous National Standards Compliance for U.S. Community Foundations

Solano Community Foundation recently passed the rigorous National Standards Compliance for U.S. Community Foundations administered by the Council on Foundations. National Standards represent the highest measure of accountability and transparency in philanthropy. SCF is proud to have met such rigorous standards in donor services, investment management, grantmaking, and administration.

Donating to The Child Haven Endowment Fund
